This was a very busy quarter for all of us at AlSadaqa. We received more than 60 applications; a considerable increase as compared to last quarter. But, Alhamdolillah, thanks to generous donations, we had enough funds to accomodate most of these requests and only had to decline a few. In addition, we were also able to provide legal assistance in one case. Funds for this project were raised separately by one of the volunteers who demonstrated great committment to cover all aspects of managing this case from end to end.
On Eid day, we distributed food and related items worth $250 to Tent City in Woodenwille.
We are happy to announce that one more sister - Sr. Farah Alvi - has joined AlSadaqa.
